Notes
|
|
Engine: Volvo with shaft drive.
Introduced in 1978, as a successor to the D27. It stayed in production until 1984. There are three versions, shallow fin, deep fin and lift keel.
It accommodates five people, with a forecabin, double berth and a quarter berth in the saloon. There is extensive dry lined storage below the saloon berths. The heads is between the saloon and forecabin. The chart table slides out from above the quarterberth. The L - shaped galley is to port, with a two burner and oven cooker, cool box and sink in a moulded work surface. The saloon table folds flat onto the saloon bulkhead. The very deep small opening above the galley is to store a baguette! There is also a moulding below the berth as a wine rack and a dust pan is built in the sole.
With a full masthead rig, the foresail is normally a 135% genoa. The battened main is normally equipped for slab reefing, with a winch on the mast. Sailing performance is very good, both as a cruising boat and for club racing, with the CS version with the deep fin.
The cockpit is comfortably deep, with wide side decks to make movement around the boat easy.
