2025 Photo Competition Winners

The 2025 Dufour Association Photo Competition produced some 36 entries, and what a range of photos we had in different styles, locations and situations – with some great creativity, but all the winners have a certain “theme”.
We had a tie in the voting for the third place so decided to award four prizes.

  • Ross Ryan from the UK with “Dawn – Walton-on-the -Naze”
  • Seamus Cook from Ireland with “Wombat in Kinsale”
  • Sarah Sandwell from Australia with “Moonrise in Tonga”
  • and winner who wishes to remain unnamed but from the UK with “Dufour 2800 enjoying the sunset at East Head”

Congratulations to everyone who took part for some great pictures and to each of our winners who now receive not just our praise but a £20 prize.

Dufour Association Round The Island Trophy 2025

Congratulations to Dufour Association member Jeremy Vines with his Dufour 34 “Pickles” performed brilliantly to gain overall first in the ISC class of 383 entrants.
Some 20 Dufour yachts were among the hundreds of entries. The weather forecasts had put some off but on the day it was not as windy as feared though the afternoon saw more blustery showers.

Jeremy Vines is awarded his place on the Dufour Association Round The Island Trophy and also receives two custom engraved Dufour Association glasses. A very notable achievement as he has now won this Association trophy eight times! Well done Jeremy.
