On the topic of the bonded on catches. This summer I snapped off one of the bonded on catches. When researching this, it was apparent that the catches were bonded on in the factory and not feasible to replicate in the field. However Lewmar have produced a repair kit, found mine in Shepherds of Gibraltar. They did not know that they had it just found it when I rummaged in their parts store.
It requires a 15mm hole drilling in the perspex to bolt through but comes with all the seals necessary. Sorry can't remember the part no but easy enough to fit.
