I bought my last boat copper coated but had to have the keel re-done after it had been on for four years so a bit disappointed. Reading the websites I think it depends on the quality of the application. If it is done well, then the results are really good but if not, then it has cost a lot of money. I decided not to have my boat copper-coated. If it has been shot-blasted there is no reason you can't return to ordinary anti foul.
