I have stored my sail bag and sail battens on the guard rail of my 385 GL by attaching with cable ties. This has worked well for the 15 years of the boats life. Start by positioning the longest on the rail inside the stanchions and fix with a cable tie approx 6 inches from either end and fully tighten.repeat with the next longest ensuring that the tie encircles all battens continue until all are fixed. I am not sure of the construction of the 365 but on the 385 all portitions are bulkheads and I would be wary of compromising the integrity of these. You might also be creating a channel for the spread of fire or fumes.
