1. looks like the rear of a manually operated bilge pump.
2. Seawater strainer. this is on the inlet from the Saildrive and then goes to the seawater cooling pump.

looks like a muanual bilge pump, there may be a handle in a cockpit locker, or it could be a an external shower – cant see from the picture as they look similar.
