On our 32 the outhaul runs down from the boom to a block on the mast foot back to the stops/cleats on the passage. Also a zspars boom. It doesn’t run perfectly, it sometimes requires a few pulls on the main runner block but that’s because the UV protection on the main is getting old and jagged and gets stuck in the mast. Something that’s on the list to get fixed before the season starts.
