Furling line already bought. I am just sitting on it until I decide on the best way forwards whilst we’re going through a very wet spell. The questions you posed are exactly my thoughts and was hoping to find someone who recognises the mast fitting as I cannot locate the name. If the furling spiral is at a shallow pitch then simply swapping side of exit may result in jamming. Will report back. Cheers.
