If I remember rightly this site does not take more than 2mb-sized pics so that may be the reason.
Meanwhile back at the ranch problem solved as per your suggestion.

Had I bothered to be more inquisitive the outhaul leaves the boom on a starboard sheave; see photo. But it was rigged on a port-side block at the foot of the mast. I simply tracked the outhaul to remain on starboard side and the furling line on to port side to stay on the same side as its exit from the mast.

Has anyone replaced a furling line on a system such as this?
