Reply To: Racor fuel filter funnel

I always poke the funnel in as far as possible then lash it to the rail so that two hands can be used to steady the can. at sea this method shouldn’t be used – fred augendre (a professional skipper) always siphons the fuel. he had the knack of doing it without getting a mouthful. I always carry diesel in small easy to handle cans, but then don’t go very far these days – I still am very careful though… dave
