I know this is an old post, but I didn’t reply to “Anonymous” at the time, asking how I got it made. I’m lucky enough to be married to an industrial model maker so she made it! My contribution to the project was to fit it, fit the screw hole plugs & treat it with oil. 3 years on, it’s stood the test of time really well & still looks great, with no more leaks. As this is clearly a common problem, my wife may (if she can spare the time) be able to make one for anyone with this problem (subject to demand!). It’s a lot of work & materials, so we would need to charge to cover costs.
