We had the same handling issues with our 382 GL. Lived with it for a few years but then decided there was an accident waiting to happen in tight marinas with little bow control, as it doesn’t dig in and gets blown off by light winds. We opted for a Jet Thruster which can be sited in shallow bow sections plus we keep as much weight forward as possible.
