Doug – that info is very useful. I can see the pipe from my sump heading aft in the same way that yours is – had never thought that might be to the manual pump. I think my plan of attack is firstly to try the manual pump and see if it pumps out the sump. ( Fingers crossed) Then to wash the bilges and see if the electric pump does the business. Only if that then fails do i need to get into the whole locating and stripping pump scenario!
