It looks very similar (but not the same) as the latch mentioned previously.
I looked at getting new springs made but there was insufficient interest. In the end I bought new latches. They are available from Plastimo and Osculati usually on special order. I got the Osculati versions through ASAP Supplies with about a 4 week lead time.
