My D30 Classic galley sink has behaved the ssme way since new 21 years ago. Like Kevin and Jane say, a plunger type action – I use the plug or a dishcloth to clear the airlock – gets the water running. Don’t know if it’s a design fault or design feature, but I find it quite useful – it’s quite easy to unintentionally dislodge the plug, which would accidentally lose precious hot water, but this initial slow run-out saves that happening. Maybe not an issue in a marina with shore power, but I overnight at anchor quite a lot, so I’m happy to live with it.
