I had a 3 blade feathering MAX Prop and that worked very well
both forward and reverse. As for fuel economy well at 1800 Revs she would comfortably motor at 6.75 to 7 knots depending on wind and sea conditions using approx 4 litres per hour. I never took her above 2000revs because she would do 7.5 to 8 knots but furl economy suffered.
