I suspect it will be the same as our 2014 380GL….Velcro!
Not just any-old Velcro mind…..its VERY strong.
I prised mine off taking the whole glued section off the roof before realising that it was actually a Velcro strip.
On the second section, I managed to insert a screwdriver to part the Velcro to start it, but even then if you just pull, the glue gives before the Velcro splits:(
In the end i found inserting a strong wallpaper scraper worked and used it to part the Velcro.
Probably best to avoid having small and language sensitive folk around when you do it….good luck!
