Many ways to skin a cat. I added a Victron smart shunt and have found it to be really accurate initially using a phone as the display. I later added a Cerbo GX and have Connected it to the MFD and a Wi-Fi access point making it viewable (and controllable) from pretty much anywhere.
Other systems are available but this works for me.
