Removing it is fairly straightforward, I did it on my 405GL this year to change the anode and electric coil.
Just make sure to drain all the water and coolant before disconnecting any lines. There’s a separate drain outlet in the boiler that lets u drain it completely before removal.
Have a few rugs on standby for spillage.
