Reply To: Volvo Penta rev counter and tachometer display unit working but blank.

I had the same problem, the plastic lens on the rev counter had degraded with sunlight.
I managed to carefully remove unit and remove the lens and clean the inside and rebuild. Some damage occurred but managed to reseal unit
When not in use I now cover from the sun
