Reply To: Deck filler for fresh water D34P

Just an quick update, its been soaking in WD40 for 24 hours +, it is still locked solid, heat and hammer will not shift it, looking pretty ugly now, so decided its toast, getting float tested:-) I have fould a nice Osculati one in polished 316 stainless, so its on order. Hope it goes well, perhaps it will put the other fillers to shame. I think the moral may be to operate these fillers every so often, and as Paul points out use marine grade anti seize. I will update again when hopefully all fixed.
