Reply To: Play in rudder blade on a 2006 325 GL

I agree from experience that its worth dropping the rudder, even partially every few years to check/clean the lower bearing. We were lucky enough to drop the rudder, (which was very stiff and was difficult) with the hoist out and replace the rudder just before launching, so no extra hoists to pay for:-)
