I am still trying to resolve the stiff steering on my 32. I don’t want to have the boat lifted so soon at the start of the season. I hope to try adding lubricant to the lower bearing.
The rudder tube has a knurled ali ring above a plastic “plug” – see photo.
Has anyone managed to remove this ring and plug?
