I glad you found my post useful. One detail I didn’t mention is that the new chain locker is now behind the small panel at the foot of the bunk in the fore peak. I removed the screws holding this panel and fitted a sliding bolt so I can gain access if necessary in an emergency. I’ve never needed it but….
