Reply To: Neutral Button

I have had the same problem on both current and previous boat. Remove the grey button – it just pulls off though it can be difficult – I have had to resort to a couple of pins to lever it out on two sides simultaneously. Then check the actual metal actuator beneath goes in and out easily. It it does and the grey button’s “lugs” which hold it on are still in good condition then it may be worth just shaving a bit of plastic off around the edges. It is these edges I think which seem to expand and create friction. If that does not work then a new button!
