Reply To: Fresh water under floor

Many thanks for all the input on this. Some good thoughts. The short story is that the hunt continues. After looking at and under every tank, pipe and floorboard, whilst cruising on the boat in Greece for the past month the water finally dried up after a couple of weeks. I’d just emptied one of the tanks, so thought Eureka, that must be the source of the problem. But no. I filled the tank again and the problem didn’t recur. And still hasn’t. So now we’re looking elsewhere. With rain over the winter but no rain since mid May, perhaps there is a leaky deck fitting and I’ve mopped out all of the accumulated water over time as it drained to its settling point? I’m clutching at straws here! If anything helpful emerges I’ll post an update.
