Reply To: Another Rudder Bearing Question

I know it would be more cost-effective to have the parts ready and do the job while the boat is still in the slings, but in the long run, the it will have to be lifted to remedy the problem anyway, so why not just lift it, drop the rudder and examine the bearing, then order the appropriate replacement?
