I have a 1.8m draft 36 classic. I have used the sealift at haslar and I was seriously stern heavy.
This was after moving as much kit forward as possible and emptying the aft water tank.
They used large water containers on the bow and a line from the bow to the lifting platform to make sure I kept level. Even then the line was bar tight.
Maybe leaning on the piles would help?
