Enrico on my classic 36 from 2001, the charger is located fixed to the bulkhead at the aft end of the starboard side aft cabin. Do you have the single or double aft cabin classic 36?
To access it you go through the small hatch at the foot of the cabin that goes into the steering mechanism area. The charger is probably a Christec unless it has been changed. It is mounted right at the top of the bulkhead on the starboard outboard side. It is pretty much impossible to remove.
Now having said that a previous owner may have fitted a newer one somewhere else, but that is where it should be on the standard build.
Mine packed up after we were hit by lightening, so I fitted a new one. I was unable to remove the old Christec so just cut the wires going to it!
