In terms of how easy it is to do, I have a Dufour 40E to which we fitted a Jetthruster (novel form of bowthruster) last winter. That involved drilling 3 new below waterline holes to accommodate the inlet and outlet jets – all of which are Trudesign. Having overcome the nerves of drilling holes in the bottom of your boat, the actual fitting was straight forward. It can be a bit messy given you seal everything up with Sikaflex and when spinning on the fittings I seemed to get it everywhere. But other than that it was fine – and like Bob I would thoroughly recommend them.
