I replaced all 5 seacocks in the heads of my D34 Performance (3 cabin) three years ago, with Trudesign fittings. As Bob said, they are bigger than the old ones, so this took a bit of juggling, but I was able to use the old holes. I cut out the old fittings with an angle grinder, which only took ten-fifteen minutes or so each – I got faster with practice! Needless to say, the
majority of time was spent getting the pipes off the old fittings and onto the new ones. I have had no trouble with the new seacocks; they are still as easy to operate as they were when new.
