If it helps I had an Aries 1000 winch on my 425GL.
Unfortunately this failed just after I had purchased the boat in 2020. The failure was due to the gearbox housing corroding.
It was more econonic to replace the entire windlass.
So as a consequence I have a complete Aries 1000 (less the gearbox). You are welcomw to it.
