Hi, We installed a beta 20 in our 2800 about 10 years ago . The existing Volvo was so unreliable and a pig to start. The Beta was fitted by a dealer in the Hamble and has been trouble-free since. It starts first time even after a winter lay off and is easy to service. Parts are reasonable. We use Gosport Boatyard now for parts and advice. I would recommend the engine, though don’t know the current price. When we bought ours it was much cheaper than Volvo or Yanmar. Good luck Regards John Bernie (Nina 2)
