    Ask a racer for help, they might do it every week!? Depending on location, get comfortable, get a big towel or two to place where the water will flow so you don’t have much cleanup. Most recent paddle wheels have a flap that helps keep some not all of the water out till you get the bung in. Have a toothbrush ready to clean the wheel and maybe a small rag. It can be done in less than 3 minutes. I usually lube the O rings on the plug when I put the wheel back in( petroleum jelly or similar. If still nervous have a diver do it without removing the plug.
