Reply To: 1979 Dufour 2800 cutlass bearing size

When I replaced the cutless bearing I found out to my cost that the shaft diameter was 25mm but the outside diameter was 1½ inches.

I, initially, wrongly assumed internal and external measurements were metric and tried, unsuccessfully, to fit one 25 x 40mm.
