    Hi
Would remove the exhaust hose before the elbow makes it easier for grip
Just changed the diaphragm on my 44 hose was a1 (2004)
Check Keypart’s for elbow, they do an elbow that is cast but much cheaper and no vp fancy label
I replaced an engine on a previous boat and installed a new vetus exhaust
I found to my horror the complete exhaust was wet on the outside due to poor manufacture pin holes all over it!
    The old one was fine!
