Re below deck furler: I have this issue with my 45e. Spraying lubricant around and down into it from above deck, certainly frees it up a lot. BTW, when stiff I use the primary winch to wind it in, holding sheet lightly, it is slower than it should be but works. It does seem like my bearings need replacing also. All the best,
