I had mine converted this year. I had a Lofrans Kobra fitted that was the same footprint as the Lofrans manual I had and mine is a 32 Classic 1999. It will fit on the same space as your Lewmar even if the screw holes don’t match up. After discussion ran the electrics to the two domestic batteries in the cockpit locker. Decided that as the engine would be running when I used it the drain would be acceptable and had no issues. Saves more weight in the bows.
